Simply put really? or It just is.

My horoscopes said I should

  1. be genuine
  2. reach out and tell em
    how you really feel inside
  3. that I'll have no trouble finding the right words and once I start it'll be easier than I thought and
  4. to be myself today and yesterday.

It's funny to say the least as they say a day late and dollar short when taken all as one. The points come up as late since it pretty much sums up what I did last year, something which I held off doing for far too long. It also at times applies since from time to time I update something while following the points as it's pretty much the only way I can be.

Writing this just came to be as it's coming up on a month ago now I had finished a update that had just come out of the blue after a image had popped up. At the time I didn't intend to have anything for a few months but it seemed to just be "right" as the prior one I finished back in January, once I looked it over lacked something, but needed to be up by a date. At the time I was still in a winter funk and couldn't come up with what should have been, but something needed to be up. One of these days I'd like to eventually go back and edit them all together, but once I finish a image and update up I can't recall how I did them so for now they remain pieces. Honestly there are only two days a year when I'd like to have a update up, but at times others just seem to pop up as if saying yeah go on give it a go.

So I do.

Mindwipe Or I love looking at a blank screen

Uggghh.... I hate when I get like this every so often, I'll just sit and stare at a blank screen since I can't come up with anything to design.   Realized the last real thing I did was almost two months ago now as I shifted gears to work on some other things at the time.  Now for the first time in those two months I can't even come up with a simple image to start from which usually will take me many many layers into a completed one at some point.

My problem is I don't approach it from a illustration or painting viewpoint, I'll just start on something and when I see that right point I'll work it from there.  I do treat it like painting though, I never do the same process or design type twice since quite frankly I don't know how I end up with the last designed image anyways.  I can look back at the last image I did two months ago and go ok how did I do this?  I'll see something at somepoint and go done and walk away from it.

I could always go back to some previously started images that at the time I couldn't come up with anything to see if I can see anything now.  Figures this hits on a late saturday early sunday night after I already had been to a Borders earlier today.  If it hit sooner I could have thumbed through some art or design books/magazines instead of just going to pick up a language book to try and learn one.

Oh well..
